The Surrey Artist Of The Year competition is a partnership between New Ashgate Gallery in Farnham and Surrey Artists Open Studios to celebrate the creative talent across the county. Starting in 2009, this aspirational exhibition offers a collective of local quality arts & crafts as voted for by the visiting public. The top scoring artists come together for this exhibition during which visitors are encouraged to vote for a favourite artist. The winner with the most votes from the public and judging panel will be named as Surrey Artist Of The Year 2022. The winner receives a bursary of £1000, a solo show at New Ashgate Gallery and a complimentary winners stand at the Surrey Contemporary Art Fair.
