This painting is inspired by the experience of coastal walking in nature. It aims to capture the warmth of dusty footpaths flanked by wild grasses and seedheads. It is has collaged elements and direct prints of natural grasses collected whilst walking. It is finished with a UV protective varnish and cold wax medium to give a subtle satin sheen.
